After you run a player search (see: How Player Filters Work<\/a>), you\u2019ll see a list of players with several action icons<\/strong> next to each name. These allow you to view, edit, delete, or email individual players \u2014 as well as complete bulk actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udfaf Individual Action Icons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Each player row includes the following icons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Icon<\/th>Action<\/th><\/tr><\/thead>
\ud83d\udd35 Blue Eye<\/strong><\/td>View Player<\/strong> \u2014 Opens the player\u2019s full record in view-only mode.<\/td><\/tr>
\ud83d\udfe1 Yellow Pencil<\/strong><\/td>Edit Player<\/strong> \u2014 Opens the player\u2019s record in edit mode. After saving, you can quickly move to the next player using your search results. Great for editing multiple players.<\/td><\/tr>
\ud83d\udd34 Red Trash Can<\/strong><\/td>Delete Player<\/strong> \u2014 Permanently deletes the player from the system. \u26a0\ufe0f Not recommended<\/em>. Instead, consider marking the player as inactive<\/strong> to retain historical data.<\/td><\/tr>
\u26aa Gray Email Icon<\/strong><\/td>Resend Portal Invite<\/strong> \u2014 Sends a new login email to the guardian(s) on file. Note: This only works for players who are marked as Active<\/strong>. Inactive players cannot be emailed or log in.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

\ud83e\uddf0 Bulk Actions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can apply certain actions to multiple players at once<\/strong> by checking the boxes next to their names and choosing a bulk task.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2705 Available Bulk Tasks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Mark as Former Player<\/strong>
    Removes the player from their current team and logs today\u2019s date as their removal date. The player retains access to their Parent\/Player dashboard but is no longer team-assigned.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Mark as Inactive<\/strong>
    Blocks the player (and their parent\/guardian) from logging into BenchLocker.
    \ud83d\udd38 Important:<\/em> This does not<\/strong> remove the player from their team or roster. It simply disables their login access.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    • Deleting players<\/strong> is permanent and not reversible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
