✉️ How Do I Customize the Parent/Player Invite Email?

BenchLocker allows you to fully customize the email sent to parents or guardians when inviting them to access the Parent/Player Portal. This lets you add your own tone, branding, or additional instructions — while still including all the important login details.

🛠️ How to Edit the Email Template #

1. From the Administrator Dashboard or sidebar, go to System Settings
2. Scroll down to the “Invite Email Template” section
3. Enter your custom message using the available variables (see below)
4. Click “Save Settings” to update the template

🔄 Available Variables #

These placeholders will automatically be replaced with real data when the invite is sent:

• {player_name} – Player’s full name
• {team_name} – Team or organization name
• {site_url} – Your custom BenchLocker login URL
• {private_id} – The player’s secure login ID
• {last_name} – The player’s last name
