Table of Contents
After you run a player search (see: How Player Filters Work), you’ll see a list of players with several action icons next to each name. These allow you to view, edit, delete, or email individual players — as well as complete bulk actions.
🎯 Individual Action Icons #
Each player row includes the following icons:
Icon | Action |
---|---|
🔵 Blue Eye | View Player — Opens the player’s full record in view-only mode. |
🟡 Yellow Pencil | Edit Player — Opens the player’s record in edit mode. After saving, you can quickly move to the next player using your search results. Great for editing multiple players. |
🔴 Red Trash Can | Delete Player — Permanently deletes the player from the system. ⚠️ Not recommended. Instead, consider marking the player as inactive to retain historical data. |
⚪ Gray Email Icon | Resend Portal Invite — Sends a new login email to the guardian(s) on file. Note: This only works for players who are marked as Active. Inactive players cannot be emailed or log in. |
🧰 Bulk Actions #
You can apply certain actions to multiple players at once by checking the boxes next to their names and choosing a bulk task.
✅ Available Bulk Tasks #
- Mark as Former Player
Removes the player from their current team and logs today’s date as their removal date. The player retains access to their Parent/Player dashboard but is no longer team-assigned. - Mark as Inactive
Blocks the player (and their parent/guardian) from logging into BenchLocker.
🔸 Important: This does not remove the player from their team or roster. It simply disables their login access.
🛑 Note: #
- Deleting players is permanent and not reversible.
- Use “Mark as Inactive” if you want to retain records but restrict access.
