🏒 Creating, Deleting & Viewing Teams

Team management in BenchLocker is flexible and easy to use. You can add teams manually or in bulk, view team rosters, and manage existing records with just a few clicks.

✅ Adding a New Team #

On the Team Management page, you can:

  • Click the “+ Add New Team” button to add a team manually.
  • Or upload a CSV file to bulk import multiple teams.

📄 Required CSV Columns: #

  • name
  • level
  • season_year

🏷️ Example Team Information #

Here are some recommended values when naming or importing teams:

Team Names #

  • Mite U8 Beginner
  • Lions Travel
  • Thunder Select A

Team Levels #

  • Midget U18
  • Tier I
  • B, A, AA, or AAA

Season Year #

  • 24-25
  • 2025
  • Spring 2026

✏️ Managing Existing Teams #

Once teams are created, you can:

  • Click the 🟡 Edit button to update team details.
  • View the team’s Current and Former players.
  • Use the 🔍 Show Team button to filter all players by that team and season.

🗑️ Deleting a Team #

  • Use the 🔴 Delete button to remove a team from the system.
  • ❗ Note: You cannot delete a team if it has players currently or formerly assigned.
    • You must remove all associated players before deleting the team.
